We haven't really highlighted before the behind the scene roles we do, or the charity work we complete as individuals at Tyres 4 U Wirral Limited, so I wanted to update you.

Wirral Mencap is Tyres 4 U Wirral Charity of 2024 - What a year of fun and excitement for all of us, so I thought I'd share our journey with Wirral Mencap for the year ....

Early on we met with the Wirral Mencap Team and Members, They are so inspiring and help a lot of people, with activities, classes, and training programmes, which are amazing by the way, they also complete a lot of work researching, guiding, providing assistance and advice to members and non members, to other companies and charities. It's easy to help a charity like this, that really helps and promotes for people in the Wirral community.

Ethan and Debbie have immersed themselves during 2024 into Wirral Mencap, going along to the charity events, Walking club, Wednesday Club which was brilliant, with bingo, tae kwon do, music and lots of fun things going on each week, too many to list, and finishing the year popping into the Christmas party.

We sponsored Graham Walker on his comedy night in March, which was amazing by the way, they do this each year, so if anyone is interested please get in touch with them, to either perform, volunteer, sponsor or just experience a fun night out. I've got to say what a great night out for our whole team.

We have helped at the bake sale in Hamilton Square in the summer, Attended the AGM, and given shout-outs on social media for all of their fantastic work and achievements. We have provided raffle prizes, and bought lots of raffle tickets, we even won a lovely cake. Participated in the silly Christmas hat day. They are always putting on big and small events through the year and need raffle prizes/buyers so anyone who wants to help in any way they would be grateful.

Ethan and Debbie completed a charity walk for the second year running with the Wirral Mencap team and participants, again a great day and we met lots of new people.

In Autumn Liam completed an abseil on Leasowe lighthouse, a great achievement and lots of fun, I've got to say It's been a lovely worthwhile experience for us all, so thank you to everyone involved ....
